About MeI started learning the piano at the age of three. I obtained Grade 8 (ABRSM) piano at the age of twelve and was awarded the Dorothy Fryer prize for the highest marks at this level. I graduated from the Toho Gakuen Music School in Tokyo with a degree in piano performance and a degree in teaching music. I studied with Professor Benjamin Kaplan in London who is a distinguished concert pianist. I have performed on NHK television in Japan and given concerts in Britain including the Greig Piano Concerto with the Peterborough Symphony Orchestra in 2004. I currently teach at Oundle School as well as offering private piano lessons. |
